Man, 29, arrested in buy-bust drug sting in Sto. Cristo, Angeles — shabu worth ₱28,560

📌 At around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, October 18, a 29-year-old man was arrested in a police buy-bust operation on Macapagal Street in Barangay Sto. Cristo, Angeles City. According to the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO), about 4.2g of suspected shabu (methamphetamine), with a standard street value of ₱28,560, was seized.

■ Details of the Case
· The Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the 6th Police Station of the Angeles City Police Office carried out the operation.
· The arrested man is a resident of Barangay Salapungan, Angeles City, and police said he has been identified as a newly discovered street-level dealer.
· Two small plastic bags of suspected drugs and one ₱1,000 bill used as buy-bust money were recovered.
· In another post published at the same time on the 19th, the Angeles City Police Office also reported the arrest of one wanted person. At about 6:30 p.m., the City Mobile Force Company (CMFC), together with the 5th Police Station and Magalang Police Station, served an arrest warrant on a 21-year-old man from Taguig City. The charge is violation of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act (RA 9262). The warrant was issued by the Taguig Regional Trial Court on September 28, and the recommended bail is ₱36,000. The post does not state the date of arrest.
