6-month visa extension

I married a Filipino woman and they give a 6-month extension once you're over 60. I've gone more than 10 times. Normally tourists only get up to 2 months.

I think the satellite BI office only gives 2 months for the 6-month extension, but you can get it if you process it at the main BI office.

The 6-month extension was suspended last year until a separate announcement! And that was at the main BI office in Manila.

When I did it in Dasmariñas in 2024, I applied for a 6-month extension right after my first extension, and they only asked me for the reason. I said I was starting a permanent resident visa. It was approved in a few minutes.
