Shabu Worth 1.36 Billion Pesos Seized at Manila Port
Authorities seized about 200 kg of suspected shabu (methamphetamine), worth 1.36 billion pesos, from cargo that arrived at the Manila International Container Port (MICP) in North Harbor, Manila.
According to the Bureau of Customs and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), 200 sacks of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, were found in the shipment on October 15.
The cargo had reportedly been declared as containing only corrugated cardboard boxes.
However, authorities found that the middles of the boxes had been hollowed out and the suspected drugs hidden inside, so the contents would not be noticeable.
The contraband was traced to Vietnam, and the investigation into who the consignee is is ongoing.

No... this kind of 'seizure (nasabat)' news really just means somebody forgot to pay their cut.
So that's 6,800 pesos per gram? 🤔 That's almost double the US price of cocaine, and cocaine is basically a rich people's drug anyway.
Wow, inflation is crazy. We're already at billions?
It's just a photo op. What are those neon vests even for? Seriously, their combined weight is probably more than whatever they 'seized'.
