Almost all Filipino landlords want to steal the deposit. Most of them are nightmares, too. They rent the place out but still think they own everything and you have zero rights.

The old 5-centavo coin was better. It had a hole in it and worked as a washer... and was much cheaper than buying washers. I saw lots of fences in the province held together with that coin. 😎🍹🌴
Foreigner surprised that the uneducated, poor Filipinas he preys on have low emotional intelligence
I'm not sure why you're asking about the Philippines specifically. A prenup has to be reasonably fair, and both parties need legal representation. Where you marry and who you marry doesn't matter. Where you divorce is what matters.
Go buy one and deduct it from your rent

I'd recommend the main branch in RCBC Plaza tower in Makati. Bring your ACR card, passport, and current visa extension paper. That should be all you need there. They'll interview you, open your account, and possibly print your card all in one visit.

Johnny Air Cargo. Ship it to their US warehouse (Delaware or NYC) and they'll forward it to the Philippines. You can pick it up at their Makati branch. I use them myself. Way better than trusting a stranger with an iPhone.

Resorts World is right across the skybridge from T3. Any of the hotels there are pretty upscale.
