I don't get why you'd leave the US if the NFL (a game) matters that much. There's so much more to do in life than sitting in front of a propaganda machine soaking up whatever the world wants you to care about.

WHERE IS THAT
Don't forget MILF means something different in the Philippines.

Interesting post. Just drop the values bit at the end. One-night stand vs. the long haul? Seriously? Petty and patronizing?
Who cares? We're all either on a tourist visa or a retirement/marriage visa
240k for a nice computer??? Dude, that's top-of-the-line pricing. No need for that. Get a rain jacket; you don't need rain protection. Just stay home when it rains and wear the jacket when you're out. The Honda Click is a nice safe choice. There's no need for a big bike except for looks, unless you're doing long trips. Don't buy a car unless you have kids. Don't buy a lot or land unless you're married and plan to spend most of the rest of your life here. Unless you're over 60, just stay the same, sit back, save, and let compound interest do its thing.
Not sure what the barangay can do about this. Talk to your power supplier. Then put in solar if you can afford it. We did. Last month's bill was 176 pesos.
Yogurt, cheese and fresh milk at reasonable prices.
There are several fairly strong typhoons in the Pacific. That could be behind the turbulence.

Mow's and 70's Bistro in Quezon City, and Mang Rudy's and SaGuijo in Makati, are great spots in the Metro.
Brother, live your best life. You only get one, so enjoy it. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
There's no guarantee it stays up. Even with fiber, the local distribution cabinets need power. If they're out, so is your internet. That said, when home internet dies you can almost always connect through a hotspot. I keep a dual-SIM hotspot phone with Globe and Smart for exactly that. Globe has occasionally dropped during a brownout, but I've never had both carriers go down at once.
Definitely the Belmont! You can literally walk there. Friendly staff, amazing breakfast. Either way, think about where you're flying to as well.

The four seasons in the Philippines are: Hot season, followed by very hot season. Then wet season, followed by very wet season. Typhoon season runs from July to December. Plus, lots of places have their own microclimate.
The level of insecurity in your posts is really something….
None. They're all fake and just doing it for the views, not helpful.
If you think Grab is expensive, it's time to pack it in, go home and make something of yourself, because that's just pathetic.
Did you have to get NBI clearance in your own country? What else was required before actually filing the visa?
Grab and FoodPanda
It doesn't come up much, but honestly, of all the places I've lived, Filinvest City/Westgate in Alabang feels really safe. I even went jogging through the streets at night. It's very corporate without much soul, but if safety is your top priority I'd strongly recommend it.
