Giving your location always helps…😉 I do know your appointment will be at 2:30 (two-thirty = 'tooth-hurty'). If you know, you know.

Love how the girl on her phone couldn't care less
I absolutely HATE that laugh track slapped onto videos. I hate it so much

I run a medium-sized shop with around 30 workers making high-end cabinets for homes. I don't use the tools myself, but I look at them as a fleet. I treat power tools as consumables, disposable. So what matters is parts and interchangeable components. Backward compatibility for parts and batteries is key. We used to run Hilti, Bosch and Makita, but they got stolen on job sites, or even by our own workers. Recently we started using Ingco and found them to be mostly good, reliable tools. They have a good dealer network and are available everywhere, online too. Compared with the traditional brands, I can fully kit out 3 teams with Ingco.
What you're describing is pretty much any homogeneous society. People don't know what they don't know.

So you're saying cool, dry air is coming for the next few months? That sounds great.
Follow or even reach out to Cholo Tolentino and his girlfriend Bianca McGuffin. She's a Filipino-Canadian expat who used to be married to the guy who runs That Philippines Life, so she's already done what you're trying to do. First in Iloilo, and now in Metro Manila. They're right in that niche, so they'd likely help you connect with community people who live or host events around MOA.
There's a fish port next to Ayala Mall, I bought mine there last Saturday Fresh every day at 1 in the afternoon
It's 10,000 US dollars, not pesos

I chose San Vicente, Palawan for its location, good roads and relatively reliable power. It's close enough to Puerto Princesa (PPC) to drive there and back in a day, and only 45 minutes from Port Barton, Roxas and Taytay. Long Beach isn't crowded, and there's so much to do nearby that costs little or nothing. Rent here is about 15K a month for a 2-bedroom house, less for a small place, and there are lots of options. We do have a hospital, but I'm not sure what level to compare it to. Good luck wherever you end up.

None of these are high-end, they're Lazada/Shopee buys.. You can get a brand-new one for the same price or less.

Mine is two propane tanks welded together.

(a) With the economy getting worse all around, people become more desperate and so more likely to scam or rob foreigners, knowing they (usually) have far more money than Filipinos. (b) In bad times, people look for scapegoats. Because of 'Filipino pride', locals would much rather blame foreigners for all their problems than admit their own mistakes. A good example is the myth that expats and their extra money are behind the rising cost of living, even though we're such a tiny fraction of the population that our effect on the economy is negligible.
British humor. Love it.

We do a pack walk every Sunday at Ayala's car-free Sundays
