250k pesos for the mom, split into 150k hospital bill, 60k OB-GYN and 44k anesthesiologist 100,000 for the baby (2 days in NICU, 5 days in the regular nursery) Good luck
It's wild how fast they move, it's almost like teleporting

To be fair, the taxes don't really go toward anything meaningful anyway 🤣
It's Angeles City, use Grab. Avoid the trike mafia at all costs.
That's a weird-looking turtle 🤷♂️
You're meeting salespeople, not real brokers. It's a numbers game.

Back in the day I made several port calls in Subic with the Midway battle group. Yes, Subic could absolutely handle the entire battle group! Heck, the bars and bar girls knew our schedule better than we did

I'll take 'Things That Never Happened' for 100, Alex
Stick to areas where the upper middle class go, and business districts (if you're in a city). Laoag is pretty safe. Vigan is pretty safe too. Tourist spots can have scammers and tourist traps, but there isn't much kidnapping of tourists going on. Most Filipinos aren't criminals. But every now and then there are cab drivers who overcharge, that kind of thing.
Lol this is so dumb. I loved it 😂

Bohol is amazing. Don't fall for the tour guide scam at the Tagbilaran port. Rent a car and tour on your own. The Chocolate Hills, the butterfly sanctuary and the tarsiers are amazing. The man-made forest is, well, trees…
Why not talk to the manager and ask them to turn it off?

They told me the same thing. I went to a nearby Globe store and, like magic, they had a way to get someone out to fix it the NEXT DAY. In my experience, the Philippines rewards people who are persistent and try every angle.
You're WAY overthinking this. Just pack it and come. Nobody cares about your computer, the government included, unless you've got some weird stuff on it.
Meant to do that!

Nah, my city sucks. I've worked hard to build a bubble that keeps me content, but the city and area I live in are just awful. Few food options, widespread poverty, squatter settlements everywhere, blatant corruption, brownouts, crap roads, endless roadwork to build more crap roads, pointless traffic, no sense of community, super expensive electricity despite the constant outages and low voltage, and trash everywhere. I'd rather live in a better city or area where the basics are already part of society. Getting solar soon, so maybe my bubble will get a bit more enjoyable.
What a loser thing to post.
