I'm sure most of you have gotten a 5-sentimo coin in your change at the supermarket and wondered what the point of such a tiny coin is. Well, you might be interested to know it's not the smallest one. I was given a 1-sentimo coin. You'd need over 6,000 of them to make 1 USD. I'm going to hang on to it, along with the silver dollar I got in change 40 years ago. But I doubt it'll ever be worth jack s….

The old 5-centavo coin was better. It had a hole in it and worked as a washer... and was much cheaper than buying washers. I saw lots of fences in the province held together with that coin. 😎🍹🌴

The tenth of a peso and the quarter peso are a joke. You can't even give them to a beggar. The only place that hands them out like candy is the SM Mall stores.
