SRRV visa concern
My fiancé is processing his SRRV visa, and tomorrow is the interview at PRA.

Does anyone know how long it takes from the interview to the oath-taking? His extension runs out in November, and his original passport is already in Manila.

I'm really confused about how this consultancy office works. Or are they just trying to squeeze more money out of us?

Mine took exactly 10 weeks, from wrapping up the application (handing over my passport and paying for a one-month extension) to the swearing-in day when I got my SRRV and passport back.

You don't need to process the extension yourself. Your agent will handle it. If your visa expires before the SRRV is issued, you'll be charged for an extension. The exact same thing happened to me while my SRRV was being processed.

Ako C Rryche The interview is very easy, just questions about retirement. Processing usually takes a month and a few weeks.

Extra fees?

There shouldn't be any extra fees charged.

Going through PRA in Manila directly is faster than using a third party.
