Mow's and 70's Bistro in Quezon City, and Mang Rudy's and SaGuijo in Makati, are great spots in the Metro.

I saw the Clash twice in '83, the Ramones twice, and Jim Carroll. I guess I need some new bands, since most of that lot is gone. Keep up the hunt for good music in the Philippines.

The most authentic shows, at places not listed here, are random small festivals, but the best ones are street punk shows, often on basketball courts or designated areas, or literally set up in the street. There's one coming up in Manila that I'm playing at.

I miss the punk scene here in the Philippines. In England there were cover punk bands and the real thing, which is what I am. I live in Zambales and I know about Quezon City, but safety is a priority for me since I'd have to take public transport. Unfortunately, Filipinos love singing Bryan Adams and ABBA's 'Dancing Queen' over and over, so punk isn't popular. Please let me know if you find anywhere. Listening to what's on offer here, I just 'Wanna be sedated.'
