Yes, inDrive is cheaper, but their GPS isn't as good as Grab's. At the end of the day, that trip would cost you 2,000 pesos in other countries. Sometimes I feel bad - we were stuck in traffic and it took 50 minutes to go 4 km, and it only cost 180 pesos. Can't complain.

Depends how much of a hurry you're in. Grab has a delay but is often useful and very responsive. I've used it in both Cebu and Manila. In the provinces, good luck. Take tricycles.

Be careful with inDrive, though. It was an isolated case way back, but one of their drivers pulled out a knife after an argument with a passenger. Not saying they're all like that, but it shows they're not screening properly when hiring.

Do you have Green GSM? Grab wanted almost 800, Green GSM charged 335.

We always use inDrive, it's better for the drivers. Grab takes a higher commission from drivers, while with inDrive they take home more. Green GSM is a big company, and it works, but we prefer to support local drivers trying to make a living rather than big companies, even if it's a little more expensive✌️
