How is dating in Cebu City different from Manila?

I'm a white guy in my mid-30s. I usually look for women in their early 20s. The only info I could find on Cebu vs. Manila is that Cebu women are “more open to older guys,” like 50 and up. Obviously that doesn't apply to me.

I've spent quite a while in Manila twice and mostly enjoyed it, though it seems to get a bit harder every year, with more passport bros arriving by the day and local attitudes changing. The number of dates in Manila was insane. I could go out with a new girl practically every day if I wanted.

You can definitely go on a ton of dates there, and the huge population makes online dating easy.

Will I enjoy Cebu just as much? Will the experience be similar? I'm a little worried because it's a much smaller city, and I think it's more popular with foreigners than Manila, so maybe there'll be more competition?

Cebu is also a bit more complicated and expensive for me to get to than Manila, so I'd love to hear from someone who's spent real time in both cities on whether Cebu is worth a shot. Is it worth it, and what are the biggest differences you've noticed in dating? Will the number of dates be similar?

It's funny that you're a passport bro complaining about more passport bros showing up. It's really simple. The cat's out of the bag. Word spread all over the internet that the Philippines IS the easiest place in the world to sleep with women. Now it's getting ruined because the women wised up fast. Thanks 👍🏻

I've only ever dated one girl from Cebu. I don't know how true it is, but I've heard a lot that in Cebu almost everyone knows each other or has dated each other (something like that). The girl I met used to be a clubber, and at one point she told me she'd kissed over 20 different guys she met there, stuff like that. She was pretty toxic herself and almost cheated (I ended it before she did). If you're looking for something genuine, just be careful and mentally prepared, in my opinion.

It's a smaller city, but it's not small. There are over 3 million people in the wider urban area around Cebu. It doesn't really change your chances of finding a date. I've tried Tinder and various dating apps in both Manila and Cebu and there's not much difference. People can only swipe through so many profiles. Whether 3 million or 25 million people are swiping, your odds of a match barely change. You'll find all kinds of people in both places: people who just want to hook up, people who want to date, people planning marriage before meeting, ladyboys, etc. I ended up finding a nice girl here in Cebu, though.

Cebu City is good for meeting women in person during the day, and maybe at night in bars and clubs if you hit the right night, time and crowd. Personally I didn't like it, because I found the women had dealt with far too many foreigners already. It has a small-town feel
