This is a new road that I use every morning to take my kids to school...
And it's completely flooded...

Due to the insane amount of rain in the Philippines, certain areas in San Fernando near Angeles have been flooded like this. Oh my cars...

Nepal and Tibet experienced a massive flood with not a single drop of rain, causing huge casualties.
Are we going back to the beginning of time at this rate...
Rain, please be moderate.

Now I won't feel lonely even when I'm playing by myself. Right, Siri?

Wouldn't it be the dream exchange rate if the dollar just got a little cheaper?

Every Friday, they feature Thai, Greek, Mexican, and Indonesian food, so I'd love to go on a Friday. I'll have to go check out the atmosphere sometime in the evening when I have guests over.

Delivery chicken. They also sell it for walk-in customers and it's near Marquee Mall.
The taste is very Korean-style chicken. It's boneless, with big pieces, and it's spicy, sweet, and soft, making it perfect with beer. The price is also average.
However, there's one fatal flaw: no pickled radish (chikinmu).
The chicken tastes very good, but the absence of pickled radish is a huge downside.
It's especially critical for people like me who eat more than two pieces of pickled radish with each piece of chicken.
If they could just fix this, I'd be a regular customer, but since they don't have it, the Boom Chicken I eat at the store is better for me.

Review of 'Choga', a restaurant specializing in restorative dishes, located in The Villages, an area with the largest Korean population in Clark.
The menu ordered was 'Braised Oxtail + Boiled Octopus'.
You have to eat the octopus right when it's perfectly tender, otherwise it gets chewy. Later, when I ate the legs that had sunk to the bottom of the broth, it felt like chewing rubber. Eat it right away to avoid disappointment.
Next up was the main dish, the braised oxtail, which was incredibly tender and went down smoothly.
There's also Chuncheon Dakgalbi next to Choga, and both places serve Korean-style food quite well.
Anyway, if you're craving something to boost your energy, I highly recommend the oxtail soup here.

There's a feature to remind you to use coupons quickly. I love this kind of thing!!! But it's a shame I can't use it ㅜㅠ

We couldn't go to our original destination because there was an unexpected crowd,
so we went to this place without much thought and ended up really enjoying it.
'Apgujeong Izakaya'
It's located on the second floor of the building where Singgeulbunggeul and Son Gane are.
Enjoy with photos~

To get straight to the point, I don't recommend it.
The store itself is quite spacious.
The prices are also naturally cheaper than those at specialty stores or convenience stores.
However, it doesn't offer any price advantage over other discount stores.
It's just standard discount store pricing.
There's an appealing section called "Near Expiration Date Products Zone," but the variety of items is limited, and the discounts aren't as significant as I expected.
There's a Myungryun Jinsagalbi next door, and while the prices are similar to those in Korea, the meat quality is also quite high, just like in Korea. So, you can choose based on your preference.
Subic
I brought a birthday cake for a friend, and in return I got a tour of Subic.
On the way to Subic we talked about this and that, and he said I'm the first person he's met who has no interest in nightlife or desire and instead cares about odd things. He says Angeles itself is a nightlife city and one of the largest in Asia.
After arriving we had steak. Expensive. Big portions. Maybe because it was so meaty, I didn't get hungry for a long time.
After eating we looked around the beach and then went to Zambales?? or somewhere like that.
The atmosphere and interior of the hotel built on the beach were really nice.
But there were no Koreans, almost all locals..
There we talked about retirement funds and interest rates.
I think you need about 5 billion won to live comfortably.
By simple math, spend 1 billion on a house, car and so on, and with 4 billion at 5% deposit interest you get 200 million, enough to live an easy life with everything OK.
After daydreaming alone, I looked around the beach again, stopped by Seoul Canteen, rested at home for a bit, had the birthday party at the tofu place where the good-looking part-timer works, dug up info about Love-zy, and went home. A day well spent

It's inside Walking Street, next to Leopard Bar.
I took a photo of the menu but didn't look closely, so I don't really know the price range, but seeing the various set menus, my guess is that it positions itself as a value-for-money restaurant
I've had the ganjjajang there. Ganjjajang isn't on the menu, but they said they could make it, so I ordered thinking, fine, let me be fooled once more, and real ganjjajang came out. It was tasty, the portion a bit small, and the price average.
Judging by the ganjjajang, to my taste it was better than Mr. Wang Chinese Restaurant. The chef has skill.

I'm thinking about Janas Burger and 80samgy again, it's been a while...
You really have to go here regularly. And another one, Seoul Kantin...
My cooldown is almost up, but I can't unleash it yet.

I should have gone to the Philippines right now.
This is the exchange rate I wanted. I love it so much. 😭
Across from Jollibee at the entrance of Koreatown Friendship, about a dozen food stalls pop up in the evening, forming a small street food market.
Among them are the Parez stall and the Sisig stall, priced at 60 pesos and 135 pesos respectively.
The taste is absolutely comparable to restaurant food. Especially at Parez, for just 60 pesos, you get rice, meat, and broth. The quality of the meat is better than expected, and most importantly, the broth has a rich and refreshing taste, like a ten-hour slow-cooked beef bone broth, without being overly seasoned. If you're feeling under the weather or have a cold, this is a great alternative.
The Sisig is also 135 pesos, and watching it being cooked is entertaining. It's delicious, and they even give you a separate fried egg. After you finish eating, buying a bottle of water for 15 pesos makes it exactly 150 pesos. It's also very tasty.
