About this event

The Cordillera Festival of Indigenous Arts and Culture, organized by the Department of Tourism-Cordillera (DOT-CAR), is a joint celebration of the traditional indigenous culture and arts of the Northern Cordillera mountain region. On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the festival will be held on a large scale along the downtown street stretch from Session Road to Malcolm Square in Baguio City. More than 500 traditional folk performers from six provinces and two cities across the Cordillera will take part, presenting unique indigenous arts, dances, and musical performances. Major participating festivals include Baguio City's flower festival Panagbenga, the Lang-ay Festival of Mountain Province, the Kawayan Festival of Abra, the Bendian folk dance of Benguet, the Say-am Festival of Apayao, the Gabbok ritual of Tabuk City, and the Gotad ad Ifugao performance of Ifugao. It is an open street festival where anyone can enjoy the traditional costumes and cultural heritage of the Cordillera up close in the heart of the city, free of charge.
