About this event

Organized by the Tarlac Provincial Tourism Office and prepared by artist Melissa Yeung-Yap and general coordinator Jared Yokte, Art Luzon 2026: Across Regions is a large-scale contemporary art festival. The exhibition runs daily from October 10 to October 18, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The main venues are the Bulwagang Kanlahi exhibition hall within the Diwa ng Tarlac multi-purpose cultural complex in Tarlac City, and the surrounding Maria Cristina Park outdoor area.

More than 400 visual artists from across Luzon, over 800 traditional crochet craftspeople, and more than 14 art galleries and artist groups are taking part. Residents have directly participated in creating a large completed crochet map sculpture, a bamboo public art installation made in collaboration with Kawayan Collective, and local traditional textile crafts that fill the exhibition space.

Visitors can also enjoy the curated exhibition COUNTERCARTOGRAPHIES, featuring artists from the Zambales region, and a celebratory music performance by the youth ensemble Pundaquit Virtuosi. Admission to the exhibition is completely free, and the event is open to all visitors who come to the site.

It is a meaningful event where people of all ages can browse artworks and public sculptures and experience diverse cultural exchange on site. Visitors can experience the blend of paintings, three-dimensional sculptures, and traditional handicrafts firsthand, and share in the dynamic flow of contemporary Philippine art and the joy of creation. Art experiences and arts education opportunities for families and students are also richly available on site.
