Summary of Internet Reviews
Synthesizing 5 Naver blog posts (3 personal reviews and 2 posts by golf reservation agencies or travel agencies, from 2023 to 2026), the most frequently mentioned highlights are that it is cooler than Manila due to its high altitude of around 600m above sea level, and that rounds offer views overlooking Taal Lake, the volcano, and surrounding mountains. Reviewers consistently note that because the course utilizes the natural mountainous terrain, it features significant slopes, elevation changes, doglegs, and blind holes, meaning players should examine the hole layout before attacking rather than hitting hard. Multiple posts also mention that after finishing the front 9, players take a cable car (gondola) to the starting point of the back 9. While some posts note that the clubhouse restaurant serves good food and allows diners to enjoy meals with a view of the course, others mention the downside of slow service. It is said to take about 1.5 to 2 hours by car from Manila.
