A hateful post on social media. Why?

To be fair, the taxes don't really go toward anything meaningful anyway 🤣

There are about 5 million Filipinos in the US. How many Americans are there in the Philippines? Filipinos in the US can buy land, vote, and have the same rights as ordinary Americans. How many Americans in the Philippines have the same rights Filipinos have in the US? How many Filipinos compete with Americans for jobs in the US, compared to the number of Americans competing with Filipinos for jobs in the Philippines?

It's a mix of lack of education, jealousy and racism. Deeply ingrained in the culture. They'd never say it to your face, but they hide behind a keyboard where they don't have to worry about a response. And whatever the issue, the blame always goes to colonialism, corruption, the government, foreigners and China. Always.

Their hate is aimed in the wrong direction. It should be aimed at the people ruling over them.

I'll take the downvotes, but I can see where they're coming from. That post specifically calls out foreigners living on tourist visas. Their immigration laws allow it, which sucks (for them), but let's not pretend people wouldn't be upset if the same thing were happening in the US.

It's just a handful of trolls who won't do anything to improve their own situation, so they blame everyone but themselves. Nothing new. Another clown will do the same thing tomorrow, and another one the day after.
